UCRF stands for Uganda Cancer Research Foundation. It is a non profit organisation which was started in 2008. The aims of UCRF are to reduce the devastation, suffering, and death from cancer through Research, Education and Community Advocacy in Uganda. In order to do this they have a volunteer programme which I will be participating on this summer.
